My wife doesn't like me when I'm buff - Hugh Jackman

Cliffs;
-Hugh's wife forgot she's a beard

HE MAY have one of the hottest bods in Hollywood, but Hugh Jackman's wife wants him to drop the weights and stop the training.

The star, who reportedly gained almost 14kg of lean muscle for his new film Real Steel, says his wife of 15 years, Deborra-Lee Furness, gets upset when his physique is at its peak.

"Overall, Deb would say to me my job is to be out of shape so that she can look as good as possible," the 42-year-old told news.com.au.
"So she's always upset with me if I'm in really good shape. She's like 'I think you're forgetting the contract of marriage - ultimately everything is about me looking better, so enough with the training.'"

When news.com.au showed Jackman just one of the many shirtless images of him floating around the web he was more than a little embarrassed.
The Aussie star who was voted the sexiest man alive by People magazine in 2008, says his ridiculously ripped body came from playing the mutant superhero Wolverine for the past 12 years.

But he says Furness, who is 13 years his senior, prefers him rough instead of buff.

"Let me give you a little insight into my wife,” he said. “I met her on a prison drama where I had tats all over my body and a mullet, and that turned her on. She likes the bad boys."

While Real Steel is a robot boxing drama set in 2020, the essence of the film focuses on the budding relationship between Jackman and his estranged son Max.

The star, who is father to adopted son Oscar and daughter, Ava, is widely known as one of Hollywood's most doting dads. He offered these tips for being a good father:
You know you’re going to make a lot of mistakes and it's OK to admit that to your kids and apologise.

Spend time with them. Kids need to know that you're in their corner and you're there for them - make them a priority.

You've got to listen, often as a parent you might have a whole lot of ideas of what might be best, but often kids have a really good idea but sometimes when you listen to them and follow their lead, it's a good thing.

of course she doesnt want him to look good, as he will want better looking women and wonder why he s with an old one. This is what happen when you improve your physique.
