The Koch brothers are a VERY big deal in New York City.

David Koch was named the richest billionaire in NYC just this past march, bumping Bloomberg down, which I'm sure made Michael a little aggravated due to his huge ego.

Koch's prior deals with Iran through petrochemical equipment come as no surprise to anyone in the finace industry though.
