Don't try to lecture, I have quite a few family members in the medical profession.  All types.  And to think that dwelling on how bad the world is, how others can slit their wrist, jump off bridges, etc... is NOT "I do on my own time is my own business."  If you think so, list your above rant/pity party on your med school applications and see how far you get.

All I was trying to say is that the VAST majority of people in the medical field at least have a small appreciation for life.  In your above post you certainly didn't display even the tiniest hint.  Sorry.

So you know me because of a few random posts on the internet. Gotcha.

Nope, but just basing it off your post.  If you are trolling/venting, fine by me.....I do a bit of it myself on the rare occasion.....  ;D

doctors are the manifestation of "Wolves in Sheeps clothing"

there intent isnt sinister but they are the blind leading the blind, and their ill advised knowledge is no better than having a wolf as a family member

i do this alot too. well not that often but it does happen for me enough times. i beleive this translates again into how you feel about life, you feel free and positive this translates into free will movements such as flying. I hope everyone can get to this state, its a good place to be

How can you not tell I am venting? I suppose I could line my posts with neon. We all have our good days and bad, I am a great person and normally love life. That said I am also bi-polar (type 2) and get into a funk here and there.

However, no matter how bad the funk I am in i can always perform as expected. That part never changes. All professionals share a common thread in that they are always capable when called upon. Same for me. Appreciate the concern though.

its good not to be a pussy many have a difficult time performing jobs and tasks because they eat bad or have emotional issues

but everyday after work is a challenge to keep the mind occupied onto something new and fun in order to not get in a funk

No problem and bi-polar is a tough situation.  Hope for the best for you.

groink needs to get better with self reasoning when he gets down

he needs to learn better at how to CONVINCE himself that things are ok and that there are interesting things in life, he needs to let his brain brainstorm more and try to understand more things his mind has yet to tap into .

even at my young age i know finding new things gets ever more difficult but there always seems to be a way to keeping the peace of mind after work

I always can fly in my dreams  :) awesome

Ditto. Happens at least once or twice a week without fail for me. 2-3 days ago, I had a lucid flying dream and I could actually control the flight fully, whereas I'd normally struggle and slow down, also losing altitude. Just about the most amazing feeling ever.

I have 2 sets of dreams (maybe more) - first is during when I'm sleeping my usual 6-8 hours, which I barely remember, although I can tell I've been dreaming from flashes of memory that quickly fade away. After I'm awake, I snooze for maybe 20-30 mins before waking up and it's during the snooze period that I have the flying/gliding dreams. These ones are usually lucid and I remember them clearly. Great way to start the day.

I tend to have nightmares on tren. Weird part is, I can never remember them. In fact, I don't see anything when I fall asleep, I just sense something is trying to get me, and it keeps me up.

its possible to alter dreams before hand

you just have to change your train of thought before you go to sleep whatever you are thinking about in life go for that thought or make that thought different, experiment and then hope to see what dreams may be given to you

Flying in dreams may mean you're a dreamer
Teeth falling out in your dreams may mean you have OCD's
