You know what? I suggest you keep a journal and write poetry like all the young ladies do to escape.

I hear it helps.

The lowest peons to the highest royalty can learn from Buddhist monks.

I can't really call myself a Buddhist because I'm far too lazy and sin too much, but I always talk to the monks when they visit us for Chinese New Year, the festival of the dead (I only know the Vietnamese name for this event), and other special occasions. Sometimes I'll talk to these fellas when they're having a smoke and sending text from their smart phone and they'll suddenly ask me a rhetorical question that'll fucking blow my mind. I'll be shocked with crazy epiphanies and tiny little tips that take nothing to employ but literally change my life with no effort or sacrifice.

It's not all about sitting in monasteries and chanting and meditating all day. Lots of these fellas are pretty modern and well integrated into Western society and can teach us a lot. The fella that keeps to himself and doesn't say much is usually the fella that can teach you the most life changing lessons. :o

Why would you go live in China, they hate buddhism, their leader says religion is poison and the dalai lama has been exiled from his own homeland because they thought buddhism sucked. So why china?

Then they will kick you out.
The temple is not a place where you escape.
Actualy, its the place where they torture you to the maximum to realize the absolute reality.

Totally spot on. Temple life is hard, VERY hard. Most people break down in the first months, actually they need to break down.
The faster you break, the faster you will feel better.

No worry, no stress, only peace and happiness.

The world is only time and space. The world isn't full of stress. You are. You have to learn how to perceive and deal with it.

Even Mark Twain said that 90% of the shit we worry about NEVER happens anyway. Worry is a waste of time. All the worry in the world won't change a damn thing, and it is a complete WASTE of energy.

Energy becomes more and more precious as you get older.

Don't need 7 years in Tibet to understand these concepts.
