TSA Begins Random Road Inspections in Tennessee

This is bullshit. The damm TSA are a bunch of clowns. We were deploying to Afghanistan and flying commercial to Ft Drum. We had weapons in TSA approved cases with all the paper work etc. In order to fly commercial you generally remove the bolts and they fly with you in the cabin. You also have to watch the weapons go on the plane. I told the TSA folks I needed to send somebody down on the tarmac to watch the baggge dudes load the planes. I also said I had a bag of bolts. They flipped out when we showed them the backpack with 8-10 M4/9mm bolts. They called the Missouri State Police..who were not much better. We had all the correct paperwork..all signed. I asked the idiots what I could accomplish with a bag of bolts...throw them at somebody. We were all in uniform. The other passagers started giving them shit....and they backed off. They suck....

I recently saw a group of Soldiers go through the same thing trying to get to Korea.  Had all their paperwork, etc. together.  Took them forever to get through.

Well in fairness...I did say something along the lines that I don't know what the fuck we'd do with the bolts...and my NCOIC chipped in..maybe fucking throw them at the people we're sworn to protect. It was soon after the cops appeared. We used profanity but this was leg one on a "planes, trains amd automobles, trip to upstate NY...followed by the death flight to Krygistan. We we're happpy with BS so early in the morning.

LOL, the governor is the one that ok'd this shit.  TSA has no doubt been approaching many states on this and will continue to do so and my guess is more and more will get on board.  Some are calling Bill Haslam a traitor over this.
