Joe Frazier passed away a few hours ago at 67. Thank you Smoking Joe....for the golden era of boxing. You will be missed by many.... RIP.

Former heavyweight boxing champion Joe Frazier has died, his family said in a statement Monday night. Frazier was 67.

If you knock someone "out", they don't immediately get back up.  ::)

That was a combination of pride and HEART that allowed Ali to stand up so quickly. It was the first time he'd ever been knocked down, and he didn't want to give Joe one extra second of seeing him trying to recover on the canvas from that blow.

R.I.P.
Smokin' Joe was one hell of a fighter, in the days when HW boxing was at it's best.

Yeah that is a bit of false advertising in the title of the Youtube there.  Frazier won that fight later in the round by TKO, not by a knock-out on that punch.

We have seen in Falcon videos he was using some of Fraziers uppercut and left hook properties.
