The problem with people who dont support this, is that they have found themselves a comfortable safe section of society were they can observe all the injustices of the world and say "For the Grace of God Go I", if people truly educated themselves on what was going on in their world, they would either shoot themselves or do something about it.  To me non supporters are either the 1% or below average intellect.  Hard to have a different opinion when you really know whats going on.

I am having trouble finding competent workers.  I have found that college people are the best for my manual labor type tasks, but they always go back to school at the end of the summer, so I am left with the losers I have now.  Maybe I should go there and hand out job applications.

This is it. If you want to work hard and learn, you will get ahead. If you think you are entitled, you'll bitch about everything you have to do.

The 1% became the 1% by either working hard, or an ancestor worked hard and they were lucky enough to be born rich. They didn't sit around whining about shit and only posted on getbig when time allowed.

Ok, my degrees are in Poli. Sci. and Econ, and I consider my views to be moderate leaning toward liberal, but I'll say this:

This movement is silly.  These people are bitching about a failed system.  About how they don't have jobs.  About how they can't pay their loans or mortgages.  Are you kidding me?  Why are you going to a ridiculously expensive school that you can't afford?  On the basis that you MIGHT get a job to pay the loans back after.  Why are you buying houses and signing mortgages that you can't afford or at least have no back up savings as a safety net to cover your bills for a few months if you lose your job?  No one is making you make stupid decisions with your money.  Why are you spending time occupying Wall Street when you could be applying for jobs and sending out resume's?? 

Take responsibility for your actions people and stop trying to blame others.

I was for their cause , until I realized they didn't articulate one. Why they didn't go after some SPECIFIC bank or CEO/executive is beyond me.
They could have simply stated they wanted the heads of Goldman Sachs and/or Citi Bank and I would have been with them.

I am 38, self made, finacially secure Australian Man.  I come from a rough upbringing, and by the age of 25 had numerous convictions for violent assaults.  From the age of 18 - 28 I used drugs on a daily basis, and eventually ended up at Narcotics Anon, where I got clean for a decade only to recently start using again what I consider a soft drug, Cannabis.  I consider myself an extreme left winger, who has followed revolutionary ideologies since my teen years. I disagree, I love to argue, I always am amazed how many people shy away from it. I actually enjoy a shouting match with others, but most people these days are really sensitive, plus I am 6'2 250 pounds and people automatically react negatively to a big guy ranting and raving, so I have to choose my battles or next thing I know I'm fighting three dudes at once (this has happened more than once lol). And the attitude that extremism is not good, is just more propaganda designed to dilute the message.  This extremist believes that the current system is in disarray, and radical change is the only way forward.  If you give me good arguments for the current system, I am more than willing to listen.  And I dont think I would say that I only see what I want and that everybody else is an idiot.
