Just saw a "Low Testosterone" Commerical, Twice

And they are really pushing HRT, test...it's getting to be like cholesterol  and ED drugs that they advertise

"Are you 45 or over? Do you feel sluggish? You don't feel like you had the energy that you used to have?"

Kinda odd that they never come out with a female equivalent,
"Are you losing interest in sex? Do you whine and complain all the time? Do you feel like you don't have any energy, yet your partner does? Do you cry uncontrollably for no reason at all? Do you feel that your breasts are saggy, yet your partner disagrees? Well you may need HRT---or estrogen "replenishing" therapy! Call now!"

I meant adverts for it, like it's the end all be all...

Basically, it's kinda like in the Baltimore area, tons of attys advertise about "Lead Paint Poisoning", and they run these commercials of a kid (typically black), with him saying, "I was fighting in schools, distant, had trouble learning, and now I find out it could be lead paint poisoning"

or they ask, "Is your child having difficulty learning? Is he not concentrating on his work, and gets into confrontations in school? Well, he could have lead paint poisoning."

WTF! It's either somebody else's fault, someone else's negligence, or some foggy ass reason for you feeling a certain way, so either we put you on pill, that may help you or we can sue somebody for something that may or may not be their fault.

The test commercials are subtly suggesting that you need test if you aren't as horny as you used to be when you were younger, even though to a certain extent that is normal. What's the phrase they use in those commercials?..."need more energy for the one you love?"...or something to that effect?

Most women don't care about losing sex drive. The sex in their marriages ended a long time ago anyway. lol They just become depressed, post-menopausal grandmotherly figures. Women are more likely to be on anti depressants than men.

it's a good thing.  my father's getting put on hrt soon hopefully, his test was at around 100ng/dl which is ridiculously low.  no man should have to live with levels that low if he doesn't have to.

Doesn't jacking off raise test levels?

I don't know how serious these firms are gonna be with this new HRT push for men. I have seen the same commercials a lot lately as well. The DEA just shutdown Treasure Coast Pharmacy in Florida. They were not an HRT clinic, but the compounding pharmacy that made all these HRT places in Floridas "Medicines--Juice". The DEA just cut the head of the snake for most of these clinics down there. Now if you are getting it from your Dr or Endo, I'm sure its fine. I read this in the newest MD about the DEA bust, so I assume it's legit.

I certainly hope you are right.  I do not use hormones myself (mostly due to legality related reasons), but I do not think it should be a criminal drug.  AAS in general should never have been made illegal in the first place!  Our governments drug laws are retarded.

they closed 2 florida clinics and 5 new ones sprung up to take their place. The DEA isn't doing shit, they only went after APS and the other place because they were hunting pill mills... even with the media noise the DEA is still concerned more with real drugs than prescribed deca and var.

I know I have bottles of Testosterone from an HRT clinic down in Florida and they have "Treasure Coast Pharmacy" printed on them. Like I said, Treasure Coast Pharmacy isn't a clinic, its the actual compounding pharmacy that makes the testosterone and supplies a lot of the actual HRT clinics. I think we are talking about two different things.
