you don't need extensive knowledge to realize that the south is also backwards in their thinking  ::) ::)

If by 'backwards" you mean nothing like the "land of fruits and nuts"  your name comes from, then I agree. thanks for the compliment....

You are a fool if you really think that. I literally just moved from the Bay area to Charleston, SC. Night and  f-cking day in the differences in these two places. Driving out of California, I saw the fruit farms where Boxer and her cohorts cut water from the farmers due to a little fish disappearing. Seriously? Contrast that with here, where Boeing just opened a brand new plant to build the 787 Dreamliner. Why? Because the Unions in Washington state(also a liberal hub) had outrageuos demands. And are now actually trying to get the government to step in and bring that plant back. While the good people of SC are graciously and thankfully taking these Boeing jobs and putting out the next big commercial airliner. Wow, the left coast is soooooooooo much better. GTFO with that sh%t

Coach, you seriously aren't that dumb? I asked a question! And you answered with "the wealthiest provide jobs" and I responded with "so just because they have jobs they can exploit others?"

I was initially asking a question, which you did not answer. Second, even if they did provide jobs, and they were exploiting people, that doesnt make it right.

Also, if you don't think the wealthiest in america have their hands in someone elses pocket to get rich, you are deluded. You know as well as I do that the wealthiest don't always make their money legally or morally.

That does not answer my question.

That does not answer my question.

I am sorry, but you really are stupid. I can't answer your question because I don't have an answer.

Read my initial comment on this thread: "However, isn't it sort of true that the wealthiest in America do exploit people for their own benefit?"

I ASKED the question because I DON'T KNOW! I am admitting I don't know, so how am I going to answer your question. I am seeking possible confirmation to my statement. I COULD be wrong.

You're either blind, can't read, or you're stupid.

No meltdown dude, those are just the facts. I lived there for 6 years and was blown away at how a lot of people thought out there. See Tbombz as a good example.

Like I said, I never said the East was smarter than the south. Look back. All I said was coach was deluded if he didn't think parts of the south had backward thinking. I mean, just look at some of the small, religious towns in the south! That is backward thinking to the "T" And there are many parts in the EAst that are like this as well. I was jjust making it clear to coach that it was not one way!

Correct.  I don't like Coaches politics but I like Coach the man.  He is a good man...See there ya go coach.
Tay-Tay is a lost young man trying to find himself.  Smart but inexperienced and says alot of dumb things that are good idealy but not practically.
BB is a racist asshole angry at anything lighter than a paperbag.  His mastery of cut and paste is to be awed upon.  While educated his anger clouds his judgement too often...His politics is like coach but the dem version. In addition, he's a very unlikeble person...

Good breakdown. I think Benny is the worst thing to happen to this board. It would be great if he left.

What is the context of the exploitation?  Define it if you want an answer.

I think doing something illegally that hinders anothers well being is exploitation. Maybe I used the wrong word, but you get my picture. Do you think this happens a lot? I would guess yeah, but don't know for sure.

It's a very vague question.  Do some companies engage in illegal activity?  Of course.

What I'm not grasping from these guys is what they want to change.  Yes, things like the securitization of crappy mortgages really hurt us, but there's tons of different sides to point the blame, and I don't get the feeling the protesters comprehend that level of detail.  It sounds just like the video portrays:  They just want free stuff because they don't have it.

But, you asked a question along the lines of "what is hot"? and called the person dumb when he asked you to provide a little context around it.

Well, I think it could have been gleamed from what I was saying. Its quite obvious that companies engage in illegal activities and potentially exploit others for their own advantage. I mean, this hypothesis is not anything new!

Of course it isn't.  But it's also not anything new that some companies do it.

A real discussion around it would be to take a specific company, identify the activity you disagree with, and either have someone agree or defend it.

I know a lot of guys that work there, but they all have prior experience working on or around airplanes. But if you have any type of mechanical experience, especially if its documented, thats a good start. Most jobs there are for the general assembly line, those guys still make good money though. The Boeing website has a list of all the jobs that are available.

::)The same exact thing could be said for the libs on this board. Its funny how when a lib acts like Coach, he is hightly educated and passionate about his cause. But when a conservative does the same, he is a narrow minded fool with an agenda. Pot meet kettle................

Nono, there are plenty of 'conservatives' out there that are highly intelligent and can outdebate anyone if they so feel like it and actually bring something worthwhile to the table. I'm not arguing that. But what I am saying though is that Coach really is one of a kind, and that would be still true even if he was a 'lib', or a marxist unicorn for all I care. His arrogance is awe-inspiring.

How am I arrogant? If you or anyone else posts anything political that's the opposite of mine and tries to rub it in my or other consevatives faces, it's not arrogant but when I do, it is?

Because you treat world and domestic politics as if it's a college football game, and the democrats/liberals(whatever that means to you, you have yet to define it) are whoever is not playing on your favorite team and they're always marxist liberals, without exception.

You almost never construct arguments yourself but rather copy and paste and then yell "lib!!!" as soon someone disagrees with said c&p. The fact that you've proven yourself completely ignorant on most matters of science and history doesn't help your case either.

What really gets to me is how given your own lack of critical thought and skepticism you still claim to know that the opposing side is ALWAYS wrong. If they're 'libs' in your eyes, they're automatically wrong. Without fail. That IS arrogance.

Can you please be humble for once, educate yourself and admit that you don't know everything? It doesn't mean you'll turn into a lib, in fact you might even carry your case as a conservative even more convincingly.

thats something i agree with as well. however, finding a conservative like that is difficult as fuck! i can defend the majority of republicans opinions far better than they can themselves.
