I had a left inguinal surgery back around 2002, and  I currently have a right inguinal hernia that I will schedule surgery for tomorrow.

In the first surgery, it took about 3 days for the feeling to go away. I could've been back in the gym in 7 days but layed it safe and took 2 weeks off. The hardest part of the surgical process, for me, was getting out of bed.

Damn it has been a week now for me and I still have that feeling with no signs of getting better  :(

Took me about a week. It sucked not being able to laugh, cough or even take a dump properly!

Are you able to touch it without pain? What happened to me was a lot of scar tissue build up later on and I had to massage it with the ball of my thumb to loosen it up. This also sped the healing process a bit too. Make sure you're eating well and getting a lot of calories (don't get sloppy but no reason to eat like you're 2wks out of a contest either!) so your body has supplies to regenerate and rebuild.

when i was 3.  it was terrible.  I remember not being able to walk and just going to daycare and laying in the floor.  my nuts were literally the size of golf balls too.

first day I woke up and they were better i ran through the house naked.
