I wouldn't exactly help him but I'd invite him in and over a protein shake I'd explain to him that he lives in the middle of a gigantic desert with thousands of bodies dug in the sand that will never be found.

There is a way of handling the situation that works and one that fails. I would maybe ask him to flex his arm for me as he left....

Possible, or he could have just killed her by accident when he got in the middle of Kelly and Melissa. Had he not been there it probably would have resulted in just a cat fight between the two girls.
