why cant these guys ever say, "i just hope i do well against such a great group of guys, i feel blessed to even be in the show", you accomplish two things 1) you dont set yourself up for disappopintment and 2) you dont come off as a pompous asshole.
they think they will do better when they say they will win

that would be the first time she would succeed in something then.
