Dated blacks girls but not because of their color but because we ha things in common. My brother, who has always had a thing for Nubian bitches, married one. What I've found is that higher educated black women are nearly indistinguishable from their white counter parts, at least in terms of temperament and sophistication. Their main complaint about the brothas was more about social class value differences than race in and of itself.
They also said that they received the most opposition to interracial relationships from the black community and that in conversations with other black women it was this pressure and fear of being a race traitor which influenced many black women not to date outside their race when in fact many where interested in doing so.
The problem is that many black women won't tell you this, and even your brothers black wife (was that the Haitian chica), is that the stigma of being "white man's plaything" is far reaching...and they have a grass is greener on the otherside mentality---when it is they who pick the men...they date the same type of black men (thugs, drug dealers, ballers, etc), but the women are on the grind gettig an education (like alot of women), but don't require the black men in their lives to do so (ironically will require the white or Adian men to do so). And then when they want to settle down, the men are still doing the same thing, as they are still dating women who accept them like that, but black women want them to be educated and with stability.
Coupled with the fact that such black women are notoriously picky---like the black girl from Real World with 200 things a black man should have, not every black woman is a "beautiful black butterfly ready to be captured in the net of love"
women, all women need to require the men in their lives to match or exceed what they are doing, but the femisist movement, doesn't want that---because they think men have a unfair advantage...
If black women want black men, then they need to have requirements for them---starting with the parents and how they raise their sons, and the expectations for them, and for their daughters. And black women need to require black men to be role models for their kids---don't count on pop culture and hip-hop figures to be their role models. And black wome need to require black men to be fathers, and not just a ATM machine---thus showing her daughter and son the expectation of a man as a father, husband, homie, lover, friend.
this is not really a black problem as you are seeing it with white men and women as well. There are more women in law school and going to graduate school than men---regardless of color.
Men in the media are shown as bumbling idiots, and that woman always have the answer and are always right...the last bastion of maleness is fighting, which you've seen the MMA scene explode.
Men in general are "lost", there is a progressive movement to strip men of their balls and maleness, to neuter them. And in turn, women are the new men---take men out of the families...replace them with women or even gay men.
