NaturalWonder great quote about leasing and not owning the muscle when you choose the natural path of building muscles.  I agree with you 100% and wish more took our viewpoint.  Nitro's comments do also state some of the psychologically punishing elements of steriods which often are the parts we dont take into account.  They can really mess with your most important muscle...your brain.  Unfortunately most only think of the physical negative effects and bypass the mental ones that can really fuck you up and last a lifetime once your off the gear...

I personally feel that many people as they age look back at their lives and regret choosing a certain path or profession.  When you are young you feel like you are 10 feet tall and bullet proof.  Even if he did know the side effects of doing the gear, reality doesn't hit until your time in the limelight is over.  When things slow down and you are able to reflect back on wether it was worth it or not?  Health is of great concern.  You only get one body.  Treat it right and it will treat you right back.  Abuse it and it will age and shut down prematurely.  A big price to pay for a small instance of fame IMO.
