Who here has served on a jury? Got any interesting stories with it?

Only been called once and they cancelled that before it even happened.  Seems like most hate the idea but I would love to be called for jury duty.

I want to sit on a short one myself.

Called 3 times.  Excused once for being out of town.  The other 2, they cleared all the cases before I even had to go to the courthouse.

I was bummed when I got the letter saying thanks but we don't need you.  I'm in my 40's and only been called once.  Seems like most want out of it so interesting to see there are others who would want to do it.
