And his waistline got completely out of control in most every pose he hit.

At one point,he looked damn good though.

Didn't know about the tears but the gut thing was getting bad. Remember seeing him at the old carruso gym back in 94. He looked great back then crazy legs, delts.

last i heard from my friend Sam Zebib (good friends with Claude) Claude was doing some work in Dubai, they pay good over there for personal training or anything
really. They don't have anybody remotely close to the size of a national level bodybuilder, so for pro's they go nuts

In the December 2005 issue of FLEX they make it sound like it was Claude, NOT Jay, who "discovered" Phil Heath. Guess it was Jay though who set everything in motion.

I saw Claude @ Gold's Venice, back in 2006. He was training with Charles Glass at the time.

Had a chat with him inside Firehouse. Very nice gent. He was living in Miami but was in Venice for a vacation.

He looked his best at the 98 Olympia. IMHO
