I am familiar with darksol. We have exchanged information on here several times over the years. I have also reviewed his post history, and I do not consider it to be a blatant case of spamming.
I DID recently delete a thread started by a new member attempting to solicit names & addresses from members to try his "company's" product. Being that it was a new account and the solicitation was his very first post, I considered that spamming.
IMO, darksol walks the same fine line once occupied by Jay Jacobson of Optimum Nutrition. Darksol contributes information here with a sporradic mention of his own line.
If it gets out of hand, I (or one of the other mods) will address it.
