Taser gun use by law enforement.

Ok, I remember quite well when this first became an issue and the one thing I remember the most was the well publicised idea that tasers would only be used in situations that would otherwise have called for a bullet.  Now every week, actually daily, we see the most ridiculous use of tasers going way beyond what law enforcement originally stated these tools would be used for.

Yes, they originally sold tasers to the public by telling everyone that they would only use them at moments they would have otherwise shot someone.  Now it's gone so far past that it's silly.  Any given 2 weeks I can search out and find some 90 pound girl being tased by a 210 pound cop Or whatever, a vid of some dude giving no resistance and fuck it they tase his ass for the hell of it anyway.  Over and over, there are countless examples of absolute lame uses of the taser.  

WTF do you say to this? law enforcement members reading the board?  I want to hear from you on this!  This is flat out wrong.

LOL, exactly...  I hear you. We've all seen the clips where some guy or even a small woman or girl is obviously posing no threat whatsoever get their asses tased and sometimes to fatal results.  

End of the line, end of the story on this is that what they sold the public on a fucking lie.  They are willing to use this far beyond what they originally sold the public on.  On that basis alone they should be stripped of this toy or be forced to use it as originally intended with consequences if they don't.
