Fyi, regardless if her husband is king she will never be queen.... She may be duchess or lady....

Just as the current queen's husband is not king, he is a duke.

Hmmm, now this is totally wrong, a little course on monarchy.

Hierarchically a King is superior to a Queen.

So if the reigning monarch is a female ie a Queen, her spouse cannot be a King Consort because hierarchically it would put him before is wife, this is why they is never a King consort (Husband of a reigning Queen)
For instance
*Queen Victoria, a reigning monarch, her husband was Prince Albert of Saxe Coburg Gotha, The  Prince Consort
*Queen Elizabeth II, a reigning monarch, her husband is Prince Philip, The Duke of Edinburgh
in Denmark
*Queen Queen Margrethe II, a reigning monarch, her husband is Prince Henrik, a prince Consort
in The Netherlands
*Queen Beatrix a reigning monarch, husband was Prince Claus of the Netherlands, a prince Consort

If the reigning monarch is a male, Hence a King, his spouse is a Queen Consort since hierarchically a Queen comes after a King

For Instance
* King George VI a reigning monarch (the father of Queen Elizabeth II), his wife was Queen Elizabeth later the Queen Mother (the mother of Queen Elizabeth II) a Queen Consort
* King George V a reigning monarch (the father of King George VI), his wife was Queen Mary of Teck, a Queen Consort
