I didnt' know they were considered "thug" wear. Schools around here, you are not allowed to wear the hood up. We had many rallies around town tonight and could not believe this thing has turned out the way it has. I have had several friends assulted by black men and one killed by one. I am not racist and would never think of blaming the black race for something a couple of ignorant people would do.
Who is fueling the flame with this? Someone must be benefiting financially, politically and poluarity wise.
I must admit, I'm not up to date with what is going on, but tonight being asked if I was wearing my hoodie in support of this kid while walking into a grocery store had me wondering if this was going to turn into a violent night. I went by the crowds, lots of chanting, yelling and arguing...but no fists. Good.
I like my Gaspari Hoodie, but I think I'll put it away for now in fear of getting pulled into something I'd like to stay away from.
