I like these type of shows. That guy is smart. He's figured out a way to get paid doing something he loves. The snake is not harmed, in fact it's tracked and protected(listen to whole video). The public is educated. The locals benefit from the production crew's local expenditures. It's a win-win-win........

It's crazy how he lost his life to a freak accident. I thought he would of been eaten by a family of gators or stomped out by a Rhino or something. I well placed shot from a sting ray. Crazy I liked that guy.

Anyone ever watch that show River Monsters?  This sunday (I think) is the new season.  They are going to the Indian River Lagoon (Ft.Pierce, vero beach) florida.  They are fishing for bull sharks.  I always told my friends that they were fucking crazy to fish in chest deep water (waders) in a river known for bull sharks.

I can't speak for the dead. Many jobs have risks and freak accidents. Anyone who has watched multiple episodes of these type shows is on some level a fan, even if they are begrudgingly compelled to view.  ;D

I know he must understand the snake well, but to me, as  guy who does not like them, that is some crazy ass shit to do.

It was not an accident. It was bound to happen. If you play with fire, you end up burned eventually. Do you know what's rare? The lion tamer who never gets mauled. That is the exception and not the rule. Most do. If you play with animals that are natural faunivores, you are a meal in their eyes and eventually they will get you.

Every time a man takes on animals the animals seem so much weaker than in the stories.
