weird dreams & strange sleep phenomenon

been meaning to start this thread for a while but i guess i'm just to lazy. anyroad...!

i love dreams and dreaming, and i have some pretty crazy dreams sometime myself.. one in particular from a few nights ago has me still thinking about it.

i was walking down a stone path through what seemed to be a wood/forest. it looked just like walking through a level of crash bandicoot, but not looking cartoony. if that makes any sense  

so i'm walking down this path and there's a chap behind me pushing his bicycle which was loaded with boxes. i somehow knew that taking another step would be taking me into brasil. i decided to let the bloke with his bike pass me. which he duly did.

i followed in for a while then he stopped and turned to me. and bound my hands together in prayer with a rosary and a st. christopher. his eyes then turned black (just like the demons in the tv show, supernatural), and he grabbed my hands and we both started floating through the air down this path.

all the while he's chanting or speaking in tongues. and has he's doing so, squares were appearing at random all around us. these square efforts were like tv screens with images flashing on them. i can't remember what the images were now but at the time i did. images from my life maybe  

anyway, we reach the end of the path, he lets me go and i then wake up. bit of an anticlimax really, but it was one of those dreams that when you wake from you think about it for a while.

visually this dream was stunning, believe me.

i've got some insane waking dreams to tell another time. oh, and i suffer (not for ages now thank god) from sleep paralysis.

Sleep paralysis can be really scary..you feel helpless and scared.....you feel trapped inside an immovable object..really frightening...makes you consider what a guy who is totally paralysed goes through

sounds like a great dream, im often in quite bizar dreams myself, i dream the best when i need to go pee real bad but too tired to do so.

I don't seem to have wet dreams anymore.  Horny dreams, yes.  But no relief cometh.  It's very frustrating.

Sleep paralysis can be really scary..you feel helpless and scared.....you feel trapped inside an immovable object..really frightening...makes you consider what a guy who is totally paralysed goes through

its a bitch   i sometimes wonder if thats how some people die in their sleep!! trying to force your frozen body to move and that feeling of been only a moment away from blind panic. but of course thats when you wake up properly.

but what if you didn't wake up at that point? thats probably enough to give you a heart attack.

but yes, i've had plenty of these awful attacks. they're not fun. fortunately, i haven't had one in about a year.

i can even remember the very first time i experienced it, and the dream i had that came with it!

i was flying over a huge forrest. trees as far as the eye could see. directly beneath me was a very high and wide brick wall. i landed on the wall and tried to take off again (lol). so i'm running to get up to speed and try and take off. instead i ended up falling off the wall.

here's the funny bit! i distinctly remember not giving a fuck about falling, which was a long fuckoff drop btw, and think to myself 'well i'll wake up before i hit the ground'. only i didn't lol.

i hit the ground, then fell through the floor into hell. at which point i woke the fuck up... or i thought i did. haha!!

so i tried to sit up, only i couldn't move a muscle. jesus, thats the really trouser filling part... not being able to move a fucking muscle but feeling yourself straining like a muthafuka to move. now here's the absolute best bit!!! all of a sudden i could hear the devil laughing. fucking laughing   then i finally woke up. shitting it  

i have to say that i'm not one of these who have had this experience to embellish the fucking story more by saying 'there was a witch sat on my chest' or that i was 'being held down and raped by demons'.

it was only that one time, which, although scary as fuck it is whilst its happening , i'm usually straight back to sleep again once i've woken up without worrying about devils or owt being in the room with me.

HA!....I know where you are coming from bro....I have had this happen to me three times in my life...two out of the three I tried to call out for help but couldn't get the words out!...was scared to death....

you make a good point as to whether people die in their sleep that way...imagine waking up and not being able to move or talk....then just laying there until you die in a few seconds....wow..hope thats not the way it happens...

i had this one dream a few weeks back where i was looking up at the night sky. the sky was a really dark and velvety. pitch black, not a star or anything. then like a rift appeared, like a huge parting of the sky.

and as this rift opened, the sky behind it was a beautiful purple(y) blueish colour. then all of a sudden, one of those huge double decker jumbo jets came hurtling through this rift.

waht was funny about it was tha the wings were short and stubby and it had huge propellers instead of jet engines.

the rift stayed open and there was a spectacular lightning storm inside it whic i watched for what seemed like ages.

cracking dream last night.. i was seeing this rather pretty brunette lass. she gave me a mobile phone so she could keep in touch with me. i lost it so she invited me back to her house.

on the way i spotted a rhino loose on the street. it spotted us and started chasing us. we hid behind some garages and could hear the beast on the other side. i peeked round the corner and saw that the rhino was infact a hippo.

we managed to get back to her place. her brother and his mate were home and wouldn't fuck off.

i woke up 

she was real pretty. don't ya just hate it when you wake up....
