Not ALL cops are bad... there are good ones too

I was once cited for competition speed racing (a charge here worse than a DUI or DWI) in my Lotus.  5,000 dollars to a good lawyer left the cops unable to prove anything as there was no radar taken, just sight and they only caught me because I forgot to close the garage door. They never "saw" me in the car.  So they couldn`t place me in the car.  Oh well.  Waste of money on my end, waste of tax payers money, waste all the way around.  The only one smiling was the lawyer.

Same basic thing in my Chevelle, drag racing, only they never saw us... someone called us in, and then they set a trap down the road, but we were going the speed limit by the time they tried to trap us.
Same thing, waste of 1000 bucks, they had no case, but I had to pay a lawyer anyway "just cause".

My parents own a restaurant in my home town. Police eat half off. My folks get a long very well with them. They often sit in our parking lot late at night watching for speeders. This benefits my parents having the police sitting there is a great deterrent for break ins.

Anyways I was driving with a few buddies when I was only 18 years old. We were passing around a bottle of ice 101 very smelly stuff. I got pulled over. The cop didn't recognize me at first. He asked me a few questions and I told him my parents own " so and so" restaurant. He gave me one look and told me to get to my friends house right away and stay there   He let me off. That was a close one that situation could of ruined my life for awhile.
