Raised right, they dont do that.

Yeah of course. And actually when I was interested in which dog had the strongest bit force, I stumbled upon various sites and all of them came to agreement that pits actually have more problems with other dogs, not humans. Their breed is actually "one" of the least hostile to humans, assuming they havent been raised a fighter.

You can raise them well but the dog has inherant issues from the way it was bred.  It may take some generations to get that innate anger out of it.  It's like adopting a kid who was raped and beat up for years. You can treat them like gold but they are ticking time bombs.

Pitbulls have to be the most overbred dogs in history.  Way too many of them running around.  Insecure ghetto trash are mostly to blame for this.

I'm too afraid of big dogs to ever own one.  As loving as they seem, you never know If they will snap.  God forbid if children are thrown into the mix.  A cat scratches, a dog can kill.

I had a pit bull X shar pei, best dog I ever had, it would wait till I went to sleep than escape to get some pussy, play with other dogs, fight (for a couple weeks only, didn't know how it was getting out at the time). but always came back, either the way it got out or it would be sleeping at my front door in the morning

would eat anything, Lollies, apples etc. it always preferred human food, its how you raise it 99% of the time

people just have them to guard there back yard, they play with them rough as a puppy, and once its big, they'll never play with it again. or use it to walk the streets so they don't get rolled

Pomeranians are way more likely to attack people than Pit's.
Just when Pits attack, its probably going to be lethal.
Ticking time bomb my ass, any animal can snap in the right situation.

Why bother.  If you think you need a muzzle for your pet, then you have the wrong pet.

When you get a pitbull you have to do your research. My dad spent many months looking for the best breeders in our area. We visited many different homes. It took about 5 trips before he felt satisfied with the owners. We got them from a very nice black family gorgeous house good people. We walked in to the house and this monster headed pit comes running from down stairs. Very nice dog. It would run upstairs to check on this kids and then come back down to check on his puppies. My parents have had very good luck and they've been through about 8 dogs since I was a little kid. My dad started with GSDs, boxers were next and than pitbulls. He knows his shit when it comes to raising dogs. When they're little you take their food away from them. If they growl or show any kind of aggression you straighten them on the spot. This is one of the most important parts or raising a good dog. You don't want them to bite someone because you bump their food dish.

We raised both dogs with tons of love. You can literally open their mouths and take food from them. They don't get upset they just look at you with a sad face like "why you do that boss". The male is slightly aggressive around other male dogs. You have to keep them leashed if you take them around other dogs. That's pretty normal with a lot of breeds though. Both dogs have the best temperaments. A little girl scout came to our door once. She took a look at our male and got kind of scared. Well he crawls up to her on his belly and plants a big kiss on her. Very sweet and gentle. They seem to sense when to be careful around certain people (elderly, very young, or fearful people) they're extra gentle around them. I can't say enough good things about these two dogs. They're angels. They follow my mom around the house always keeping an eye on her.

Very clownish to. If you have a bad day those feelings don't last long. They seem to sense it. They will act all goofy until you cheer up. If you're really sad about something they will just come over to be bye your side and take some of the burden. They amaze me all of the time how smart they're. When I use to drive home from college they could sense something was up. They would hear my parents talking about me. A few days before I came home they would wait around my room. They could hear the sound of my car when I pulled up and go nuts. Pretty amazing stuff. When I left again they would be sad and mope for a few days.

Too many douchebags own this breed. Time to put some restrictions on who can own this dog. Also make people have to register their dogs. And if their dog bites or kills someone, make the owners 100% responsible with mandatory prison time. Put these kind of restrictions on this breed and it should weed out a lot of douchebags who own the breed.

I kind of agree with that. Just not sure how far they should take it. I agree people should be 100% responsible if someone gets bit. Should be a huge fine and possible jail time.

ya, the problem is every owner thinks they're a good owner. Much like every parent thinks they're a good parent. These dogs are fucking awesome and need to be protected.

Yes good quote. To many retards owning this breed. My parents obviously didn't get them to be bad asses. They wanted a capable athletic loving dog that doesn't drool a lot and make a mess. They have an iron will and great determination. To many wanna bes own this breed for the status.
