Found it, I'm a dumbass.  Just came on the radio again after a few months or so.  It was Radar Love by Golden Earring!!!!!!!!!!

I had never ever heard this golden song before!!!!

haha.... I heard it and didn't think much of it, than like two weeks later (when I posted this) I vaguely remembered it being a good song but I really couldn't remember any of the lyrics, or anything. 

Just happened to hear it again on the radio and it clicked.
