Agence France Presse reports — Two tribesmen were killed, one critically injured and several policemen injured while three police vehicles were torched as tribal clashes erupted in Indonesia's restive Papua province on Monday.

Police and military troops were overwhelmed by the fighting, which was sparked by the death of a tribesman in a road accident in early June.

Papua, NG has one of the highest per capita crime rates, especially rape. The various tribes there have been fighting for centuries and this is anything but surprising.

they don't, that's Irian Jaya, the east part of papua new guinea, an island filled with Abos who live in the stone age and do this kind of thing every weekend after a few beers.


The indonesian army regularly culls and tortures them to keep them in line... the aussies could learn a lot from their neighbours, there's no 'sorry day' or endless welfare checks from the indonesians.

Last time I checked, Abos (Of Austra origin) don't have Afros.
These are melanasians (sp). Never really read up on them, but from what I was told, they aren't "African".
