oh charles degaule said that when he visited in the 70's. I like the fact that quebec is unique to north america but I grew up english. english school, neighborhood.. so the whole langauge laws actually get on my nerves.

An older lady I used to work with (now retired) had grown up in a village outside Montreal.  Very French, very Catholic.  Sweet lady, until someone rubbed her the wrong way, then the claws came out.

oh shit, I enjoy going downtown for a few drinks and getting into a good arguement about l'office de la lange francais, or some other equally retarded french law here.. To their credit though and many americans dont know this,,, they can be some tough fuckers if shit gets physical. I have seen many an american and canadian tourists  get fucked up by a frenchman.
