At the Iowa State Fair, on Friday, country singing star Hank Williams Jr. told his audience: “We’ve got a Muslim president who hates farming, hates the military, hates the US and we hate him!”
Williams shouted his anti-Obama statement after playing his song 'We Don’t Apologize For America' and a chant of “USA, USA” broke out among the crowd, reports the Des Moines Register.
The 63-year-old Williams Jr. provided no proof that President Obama is a Muslim, hates the military, farming or the U.S.
Last year, when Williams Jr. compared President Obama to Adolf Hitler on 'Fox & Friends,' ESPN dropped his 'Monday Night Football' theme song after 22 years.
In response to this latest attack, the Obama campaign said in an email: "That type of absurd nonsense doesn't really deserve a response. Obama is a Christian."
