see i expected less BUT i expeted it ot be more permanent.

Palin was a hot fresh face, but once she spent 5 minutes with katie couric, we realized she lacked much conviction.  So eager to please, in over her head, and really just not confident with her answers.  That snarky thing was a great defense for "I'm fcking lost here, please just attack obama and next question please"

Ryan is smart, which oddly is rare at the level of top politics where popular/good with people is more successful.

I think he will get 5-8 points in some polls, but an average of 3, and he'll keep most of it.

Palin helped McCain, not hurt him.   Without her he would have lost ever worse.  I know you fanatical leftists and Obama cult members refuse to understand this, but it is what it is.

any historical precedent for such a blowout?

My belief is that he would have lost 50 to 49 with Romney (economic) on the ticket.

Why should Ron Paul get a speaking slot?

I'm serious - he and his most ardent followers are a joke.  He runs in the GOP primary, then when he loses won't committ or say he will support the ticket, and then the GOP is supposed to bend over backwards to accomodate him?

LOL.  Shit don't work like that in the real world.

how it works in the real world is that they would probably offer him a spot in exchange for backing mitt.  I don't even think Paul would expect to talk without backing the nominee ::) A politician holding something for something is normal. You think the others candidates gave their endorcement free of charge?  LOL... That's not how it works!  LOL, if you had any idea of how much McCain required to back Bush... They probably didn't even attempt to talk to Paul because they can't stand him.  And quit attacking his supporters, you said you weren't going to do that anymore.  It's bs for you to lump them all together like they're all examples of the worst case follower ::)

But my main lol is that psycho fucking Santorum anyway.

Good to know though that you think Ron Paul is a joke.  I figured you were full of shit.

So again - Paul probably refused to commit to backing the ticket and they told him no speaking slot.

I see no problem w that.  Thats' life.

I also LMFAO at the paulbots melting down that Paul was not picked as Veep.   Yeah, he really was going to get consideration after refusing to say he would back the ticket.    ::)  ::)  ::)

romney wants this convention to be as boring and SAFE as possible.  No ron paul revolution.  No Palin idiocy and self-grandizing.  no Trump birtherism.

Cain screaming "9, 9, 9" to a bunch of moouth-breathing sheep...

maybe he did, maybe he didn't, I don't know and you don't either.  My guess is that no attempt was made.  And maybe Paul said no.  Again, McCain was very demanding before backing Bush.  He's by far not the only candidate to want a little quid pro quo and that's the real world in politics.

And again, the big joke here is fucking Santorum.  how can anyone support that psycho?

Ended up being a non-factor... no measurable bump overall thanks to te Ryan addition, by the WSJ poll.

I guess getbiggers will challenge that - but probably won't show poll numbers of their own.

It's been almost 2 weeks... i guess the 'win' is that Ryan didn't do any damage (unless this Akin thing gets any attention)
