For years now we've had the same posters slating Dorian's individual bodyparts but when it comes down to it, he beat the best guys in the world for six straight years and with near perfect scores each time. in all cases levrone's delts were by far better and bigger than dorian's but i feel that the way each of them was hitting this pose played a role to increase the gap in size between them.. dorian was slightly bending his torso to the rear to show his width while kevin was bending his torso to the front to show the size of his delts and traps..

yes and i always see him the clear winner in 95..

the only guy who was better than levrone in this pose in dorian's era was huge nasser..

and 1996 ronnie, who was also better than both in his prime too

but yes, dorian was nothing special from the front.

Ronnie's delts were actually a weak point up until
98 where they still didn't match his incredible upper body.
In the 1998 Mr. Olympia report in Flex Peter McGough
really praises Coleman in an incredible way.
Only minuses were Quote: "calves and flatish deltoids"
It wasn't until 1999 where his delts caught up with the rest
of his body. They were incredibly detailed earlier in his career
but they were not huge and capped like 99 and after.
They were close in 98 but needed just a bit more.

You can see early on delts were a week point
for Ronnie and by 99 they were in proportion.

Look more closely.  Levrone's delts are overdeveloped, which overpowers his chest badly.  This, along with his trap development, gives him a narrow appearance.  Yates has well developed delts, with better delt chest tie ins and greater width.
