Dem Pandering Hits A New Low, Illegal Immigrant To Speak At DNC

Tonight, for the first time, an undocumented immigrant will speak at a national political convention. Benita Veliz was brought to Texas from Mexico by her parents when she was 8 years old. She was threatened with deportation in 2009 after rolling through a stop sign and getting stopped by police.

An activist for the DREAM Act, which would grant permanent residency to some immigrants who graduate from U.S. high schools, Veliz was spared deportation last fall. President Obama, by executive order, subsequently stopped the deportation of some illegal immigrants who were brought to the country as children and allow them to apply for work permits. That policy went into effect in August.

Pretty funny how the Dems care more about illegal immigrants than they do the tens of millions of Americans out of work in this country.  ::)

My question, is how can illegals be activists?
I mean, they're not citizens, how the fuck do they get a say in our laws?
Furthermore, why in the fuck do we give them the same rights that citizens have?

Im all for a better path to citizenship.. but come the fuck on. Illegals are not citizens, they should not get the same treatment as citizens, period. They're breaking the fucking law just by attempting to live here.

If they want to roll the dice thats fine, but don't bitch about your situation and try and change shit... they know they're here illegally. Pisses me off that we allow this kind of bullshit.

Even ultra-liberal Europe has been rounding up illegals and booting them back to where they came from. Greece has been imprisoning thousands of them crossing over from Turkey. They're also planning to put troops on their borders.

Only country in the world that treats illegals better than its own citizens.  ::)

When is government going to take responibility for this mess.  IMO it's almost all their fuckup.  I can't blame the 8 year old.  I can't really blame her parents for wanting to get work here.  This is a process where the government fucked up over many decades and often looked the other way.  Why the hell can't we have a secure border?  What the hell is wrong with that?  I still don't get the beef with securing our border.  I don't blame a person who was brought here very young but having her talk at a purely political event is pandering for the hispanic vote and nothing else.

Correct, the blame doesn't lie with the illegals, it lies with the government for enabling them.

They know they can come here illegally, be taken care of, and if they bitch, moan, and complain enough they'll get their way.

Its sad, it's like that pathetic parent we all know that can't say no to their fucking child.
