In that video of you doing 405 for 30 on youtube, what was it that pushed you over the limit on that vid? it seems you were more motivated in that one clip than in other showings you do. Was it just a good day, did the guy yelling across the gym have anything to do with it, was it someone important giving you motivation, etc?

well, when that was being shot i was 10 weeks out from europa pro, hmm i think 3 yrs ago.. i was weighing about 173 ..   so my motivation was focused on the show and we just went for it ..take that and the times i squatted in the cage   it was out of my element..  i had been on my feet for 2 days , traveling .    at the event,  the staging had a bounce in it , so seeing as i only had to beat 10 i wasnt going to go  nuts  so i upped the weight from 360 to 405 to enterain the crowd more..  i knew the bench was right after so i saved a bit of energy cuz im not good at bench..

Kevin Tolbert, ken leistner's adopted son, supposedly did 600 X 30.

Kevin is the strength coach (assistant I think) for the SF 49ers.
Was a beast back in the day.
