Voters Much More Confident in Romney to End Political Grid Lock
« on: October 31, 2012, 07:44:41 PM »
Not very suprising as Obama has been the most divisive president in recent history.

some 47 percent — think the Republican challenger would be better at ending the logjam Thirty-seven percent say Obama would.

obama hasnt been divisive haha, everything he has done has been moderate. the gridlock stems from that pledge republicans made the day obama got elected= "our number one priority is making obama a one term president"

This.

It's pretty simple really.

The GOP was may more worried about Obama for the past four years than they were about helping America at all.

Their voting record reflects this.

You don't have proof that Obama put his agenda before the American people. Jesus Christ, grow up already. I'm so sick of people saying hyper-partisan crap that has no basis in reality. What's next, Obama is essentially Hitler. Just got to grow up some time politically, guy. I don't know what else to tell you.

We have plenty of proof. Ask the folks on Univision. Remember when they grilled Obama for not passing immigration reform, while he had a supermajority in the Senate?

Instead we got ObamaCare, which the American people didn't want....or did you forget that's a major reason the Dems got creamed, losing the House in 2010, in the first place.

As for that list you cited, you conveniently left out the fact that the Dems loaded those bills with more pork than a Texas BBQ. And when the GOP rejected and resubmitted bills minus all the swine, the Dems took a pass.

And, let's not even get into all the bills the House DID pass which, to this day, are collecting dust on Reid's desk in the Senate.

i am often times wrong, but in this case i do believe that i am correct. a fact that cant be debated is that the republicans said their number one priority was to make obama a one term president. they didnt say their priority was the economy, they didnt say their priority was standing up for conservative values, they said "our number one priority is making obama a one term president".  hell, how many republicans advocated the individual mandate before obama came into office? the reform was originally proposed by the heritage foundation and throughout the 90's and 00's republicans were eager to support it when they spoke out against the single-payer model that had/has so much support in the country. the country elected obama partly because they thought obama was going to fight for the single-payer, universal coverage. but instead of going after that, he went with the conservative heritage foundation's plan of the individual mandate. what did he get in return? not a single republican supporting it.
