London-based magazine, The Economist, endorsed President Barack Obama on Thursday. It is the second time the world’s leading economics-focused magazine has endorsed Obama, this time by a narrow margin over former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney. The Economist’s choice turned to two questions: how good of a president has Obama been, especially on the main issues of the economy and foreign policy? And can America really trust Mitt Romney to do a better job?The magazine said in a press release today that while Obama’s shortcomings are many, Republican challenger Romney has changed his position too often on policy matters.http://www.forbes.com/sites/kenrapoza/2012/11/01/the-economist-endorses-obama-for-president/
I've read the reasons they chose Obama over Romney....It sounded a hell of a lot like damning with faint praise. I think they referred to Obama as the "devil we know" or something similar.Which makes sense because neither of these two gentlemen are very good candidates.
