Losing is the BEST thing for the Republican Party
« on: November 06, 2012, 05:43:21 AM »
The Republican Party needs change.  It doesn`t need the Tea Party and it doesn`t need Chameleons like Mitt Romney.  I see a party in defeat that can and should reorganize itself around someone like Chris Christie/ Ron Paul with the hopes of returning to Barry Goldwater type roots.  I doubt that will happen though and it will only get more shitbrain.

How long before they kick out Chris Christie?

I couldn't agree more.

I think they are addicted to rage and ignorance at this point.

If it weren't for the stupidity of so many Americans, I would have to congratulate them on how they get so many people to vote against their own interests. It's still quite a feat, even considering that.

How fucked up can you be when you have Mitt leading the charge by posing as a conservative.

Below is an article discussing the subject of the Republican party.  Read it if you're interested.  I have a hard time seeing the Republicans making any real policy/philosophical changes.  The Republican ideology is to entrenched at this point.  If Libertarians gain any traction they might split off and form their own party but the Republicans won't change or the change will be so slow the party will become irrelevant before the changes would make a difference.

I don`t hate him.  Does he suck in a lot of areas?  Yes.  Is he a million times better than the average Republican candidate? Yes.

Fair enough. I tend to agree with this. And he is fairly principled for a politician.

I really like this part of your post.

Agreed.

There are some big changes coming soon, demographically speaking.

Less white people as percentage of population and the general acceptance of homosexuality are a couple that pop in my mind first.

It will be interesting to see what happens.

Maybe soon

Rupert says Christie shares blame if Romney loses because he spoke highly of Obamas actions during Sandy

A party that rewards liars like Romney and hates straight talkers like Christie

This party is just to fucked up
