I don't understand tires.  When they're considered worn out, 95% of the material that went into making them is still there.  They're forever getting punctured, needing balancing, rotating, replacing, pressure checking.  Hard to believe no one has come up with a better solution than the same air filled rubber doughnut concept they started with 100 years ago.

And if you drive over something sharp they can hammer a little piece of rubber into the hole to plug the leak.  Assuming the hole is suitable to have a little piece of rubber hammered into it.  Otherwise yur gonna need a new tire.

Srsly, this is the optimum 21st century solution?  No one can come up with anything better?

The Tire companies want you to buy tires all about the money if can find a local to plug them that's good. Tire companies will say you need a new tire I call bullshit I've had many plugged ran fine after that.
