Apparently it takes more than 3 weeks for them do agree to something they have already agreed on...

"The top Democrat in the House declined Thursday to endorse cuts to Medicare and Social Security benefits proposed by Senate Democrats earlier this week. Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi also said a counter-offer from Republicans on the deficit "supercommittee" _ it totals about $2.2 trillion _ isn't bold or balanced enough because it lacks tax revenues."

Pelosi's objection then was that there werent enough tax revenue increases, I wonder what her excuse is now?
