Actually, a lot of communists came from rich or pretty well off backgrounds. The bourgeoisie provided most of the thinking heads. That's something most people don't study: the link between self-hatred and the development of totalitarian regimes.

Disagree.  Praying to something won`t cause the plane to stop from falling out of the sky.  If I was on a plane that was crashing, I would just accept it.

If anything, a crashing plane with religious people in it should make them realize that there is no god and that all the praying and church nonsense was worthless.  They are going down in flames.
