Believe it not my hometown is Mayberry they got all the Andy Griffth stuff there, Floyds Barbershop, etc. it's really called Mt.Airy NC you can google it. They based the series off Mt. Airy NC. I moved away no jobs there just a tourist attraction now.
Boonesmille, VA used to be as close to Mayberry as could be...45mph going thru there. And the local sheriff/police was one dude, with a Camaro with a NASCAR engine in it...and he would pick people off, too.
I haven't seen what he has now, but that was yrs ago. Rebel flags up on one area.....this is off of 220 South once you go past Roanoke.

Yea I have been through there the small town cops are bored so you got to watch the speed. 220 south takes you right in to where I live in a medium size town not to small but not real large just my style. I went to the store today around 5 miles round trip saw 4 cop cars.

Story a couple of years ago about the real Peter Brady and his wife Adrianne Curry.

"Peter Brady is back on the market.

Five years after tying the knot, Christopher Knight and Adrianne Curry have decided to end their marriage, according to Hollyscoop.com.

"After starting a relationship with what seemed to be irreconcilable differences, the couple has reached a period where those differences are no longer appreciated," their manager, Phil Viardo, told the site.

Viardo added: "The decision was mutually reached after it became clear to both that some perspective was needed in order to assess their unique union… They still love one another but need some distance to consider their future."

Knight, 53, known for his role as Peter Brady in the 1970s's hit The Brady Bunch, met Curry, 28, while they were housemates on the VH1 series The Surreal Life. Their on-screen romance let to their own spin-off series My Fair Brady, which documented their engagement, wedding and first year of marriage.

As of Sunday evening, the former America's Next Top Model contestant had yet to address the split on her official Twitter page. "May 29, 2006 I maried Christopher Anton Knight," she wrote. ""Enjoy your weekend! I certainly am!"

Earlier this month, however, Curry told Howard Stern she was "unsatisfied" at home and said her husbands "balls" were the size of raisens from steriods and found attention via Twitter. The former model even confessed to using a Sybian machine (a masturbation tool for females) in lieu of sexual relations with her hubby"

I did work for a company out of that city, John S. Clark, nice people. It's south of Danville I believe.

Watching it right now. The episode where Buddy Hinton mocks Cindy with "baby talk, baby talk, it's a wonder you can walk". Then he dots Peter's eye when he puts up for Cindy. A classic.

my favorite is when greg turned hippy cuz he wanted to be "the big man on campus". he moved into Mike's den and didn't want to hang out with his bro/sis's. then when none of his cool cat friends wanted anything to do with him he jumped into the brown station wagon with the bunch to go on an adventure.

I'd sooner throw a car down the block than trust Adrienne, but holy fuck is she a cutie.

I know she had a smack habit because she said it was harder for her to quit smoking than to give up the horse, but smack or no smack, cigs or no cigs, I sure as shit wouldn't need any machines to get her off.

And FWIW, I don't give a shit what the dinks here say, I'd still fuck Maureen McCormick until she was just a twitching, epileptic mess of spasms and pleasured grunts.  So she's older and fatter now.  Who the fuck cares?  She was MARCIA BRADY for God's sake.

By the same token, I would fuck that old gap-toothed model ... err, what's-her-face ... ah!  Lauren Hutton.  And Ellen Barkin, and Julianne Moore, and probably even Helen Mirren.  Had you gotten me drunk enough, I probably would've fucked Liz Taylor before she died, too.  It might not amount to bragging rights amongst most of you young pups, but just to say, "I fucked one of the hottest actresses ever" is probably worth it ... to say nothing of the FINE-ass alcohol that would lull me into that state :D
