why are pullup bars so goddamned expensive

Be careful we had a getbigger here a few years back tell us how his friend had a pull up bar and while using it the bar collapsed or something and the guy died. Not sure who told us that, anyone else remember that?

Yeah, you have to watch the weight capacity and mounting on them. It's dangerous if you kip your pull ups even more because of the violence of the movement, and the position that your body is in. Usually with the kip you come down in more of a head first position, and have less time and body bulk to break your fall. It can get nasty if it's on a hard surface.

got a Northern lights dip/chinning station at home...solid and you can do parallel and any other chin/pull up. better with solid kit

Dont like pull ups...dont have a need for them.   Just my two cents...last time i did them I hurt my bicept....
