Vegetarian Shit Isn't Filling
« on: May 21, 2013, 03:11:38 PM »
I got a box of like 20 Amy's Organic Gluten Free/Dairy Free Vegetarian Burritos because they were 50% off.

They have 250 Calories per Burrito, and 6g Protein.

You can eat four of these (1000 Calories) and still not feel like you've had anything to eat.

WTF? ???

Maybe because they are processed foods?  In reality vegetables are quite filling as they contain fibre.

Eating lots of fruit and vegetables fills me up easily.

I'm borderline vegetarian now except for a small portion of fish per day and my energy is through the roof.

I feel like another person, I really hope I don't crash and that it's some kind of manic euphoria or something.

Burgers, Fries, Doughnuts, Pies, Cakes fill me up.  Vegetables and Fruits by themselves, not so much.  I love eating them, but not filling.  I like making vegetable Casseroles and such.  That is a filling way to eat Vegetables.  Also Fruit Crisps and Fruit Pies.

Watermelon can fill you up though, but its just the water doing it.

To me anything is processed that can be found in the freezer or on the shelf.  If these are freshly made and in the deli part then that's different.

Deli meat is highly processed as salt and nitrates are added.

Freezing something is a form of preservation and can fall under the definition of "processing" (stupid ass definition that means nothing really) but it won`t change the composition of whatever is being frozen.  If I froze 10 lbs of strawberries, they would still be 10 lbs of strawberries when I take them out.

Yeah, but I see what Booty means about the freshly prepared foods they sell around the deli.

I think you guys are right.

You might want to check with the "deli" if you purchase at a grocery store.  A lot of the times they are using the products off the shelves that are near expiration.

your entire digestion track replaces itself daily or every two days

meat keeps you fuller because it hangs aorund in your system MUCH longer

many meat eaters also get hemroids but too embarassed to post about it

you want feul to go in and go out quickly as possible extracting what you can

you have to eat literally every hour in hot weather to keep going on vegetarian foods whether they are snacky peanut and granola bars or potatoes, that food burns up quick. thats what you have to accept or not

In reality vegetables are quite filling as they contain fibre.

Indeed, and fiber makes it easier to fulfill certain sorts of sexual preferences.
