Some nice little drama. Don't know how much truth to this story or how accurate it is, but it makes for an interesting read. Story via RX Muscle:
I was on the phone with one of my IFBB colleagues today and he told me all the details of what went down in the lobby of the Millenium Hilton after the NY Pro, and it's a story worthy of RxMuscle.
Apparently earlier in the day George Farah made the statement that he'd be willing to bet money that current Mr. O, Phil Heath, will place 3rd or worse in the coming 2013 Mr. Olympia. Contest promoter, Jack Titone, was quick to take him up on the bet. At this point we have one braggadocios guy talking smack and making outrageous claims (totally normal for him), another guy calling him on it, plus an asinine bet. And if that were it, I wouldn't waste your time. Instead, I would just ask you kindly to visit
www.hardcorepeptides.com and sample my wares, but I won't (till the end). I'll tell you the rest of the story.
Fast forward to later in the night: Dennis James, like many other industry people, isn't a fan of Farah. DJ took George's bet as extreme disrespect for the champ, and let Phil Heath know. From what I am told Heath called George and reamed him out for said disrespect, but that wasn't enough for DJ. He confronted George in the lobby of the Hilton and basically said EVERY SINGLE THING many people wanted to say to George, but haven't: You lied about being shot, you steal peoples clients, you lie about everything, you weren't a cop, or a doctor, nobody likes you, and more that I won't write here. When George did the whole "my brother" and "miscommunication" thing to DJ, he threaten to beat George's ass. By then the confrontation had gotten everyone's attention in the lobby, and it started to look like there might be a bigger problem. That's when the guys were pulled away and peace was restored in the Millenium lobby.
My buddy says this isn't over though, and that George VS Dennis could reignite at anytime!
