As lame as "get fit" fad shit is, bodybuilders and powerlifters aren't fit and we can bullshit being "in shape" to people who don't know any better, all we want - reality is that most of us have only a vague, passing interest in being fit (and only when we're actually dealing with the ramifications of permabulking).





I agree but it's not universal. I bike almost 100 miles a week and i weigh 235 as of yesterday. At first it was basically forced cardio...to and from the gym...but i got into it and put in some miles solely for the exercise....and my wind is the best it's been in decades.

I'll never stop bodybuilding, but it's not the worst idea in the world to improve your cardiovascular fitness as well.

Sound advice.

To force cardio, I signed up for a Tough Mudder race.  Now that it's over, I'm not going all out, but will do a few five Ks each week.  It just makes you feel better overall.
