My dad had one of his albums, when I was a child.  I would steal it at night, and listen to the story about the man putting his feet in the bucket of piss and how they would swell up.  ;D

Grew up with this 'drug' type humor albums. Ex: carlin, cheech and chong etc. but I never really got Pryor. Maybe I was too young

He was an important writer for "Blazing Saddles".  He was going to play "Sheriff Bart" in "Blazing Saddles"...but his reputation of being a coke head was such that Mel was afraid to trust him.
