I'm there in a fortnight with one of my friends and wouldn't mind few tips on where to eat and shop etc

They fucked me out of a connecting flight in Frankfurt on the way through. And then they did it again on the way back home. Fuck Frankfurt.

i live in frankfurt for 9 years now... u can go to zeil, hessen center or nordwest center for shopping... if you want to eat some tasty kebabs than go to doydoy in zeil...

Frankfurt is a great town, but it's a buisness town, so the town is pretty quiet after 19 pm.
you can shop and eat every where in the city center.

Amen - fuck Frankfurt Airport. Biggest fucking clusterfuck of an international airport I've ever been in - and I fly a lot. I've been through there so often and always - seriously always - something goes wrong.

I pay money now to avoid it. When I fly home at Christmas I'm catching a train to Switzerland and leaving from Zurich - just so I don't have to go through Frankfurt again.

Fuck that place.

Oh - have a good time in Frankfurt itself OP. Good luck if you go through the airport.
