yeh thats him, andy hornby... all the older guys around newcastle would always talk about him

billy payne had an amazing physique, one of me pals claimed him and dorian trained together before yates turned pro

Thats right,Billy used to go to birmingham to train with Dorian,think it was around 89-1990,thats the year billy qualified for the british beating Mick Theo,but got injured before the finals and Mick won the heavies that year.
Are you from Newcastle then,my nephew is up there studying to be a doctor,absolutely loves the place.

yeh, live just outside newcastle, its a great place for students, excellent night life and friendly people in general..

we had some amazing bodybuilders in the late 80's, when you think the likes of billy payne and gary taylor couldnt even get a pro card

yeh,, he's been about for ages... he was a good jnr, got back into the competing and won the lot..

just found a shot of andy, fucking unreal for a jnr
