"Throughout our history, Islam has contributed to the character of our country, and Muslim-Americans, and their good works, have helped to build our nation - and we've seen the results. We've seen those results in generations of Muslim immigrants - farmers and factory workers, helping to lay the railroads and build our cities," President Obama said at a dinner celebrating Ramadan on Thursday at the White House. This is the fifth such dinner that President Obama has hosted.

 "Every day, Muslim Americans are helping to shape the way that we think and the way that we work and the way that we do business. And that's the spirit that we celebrate tonight - the dreamers, the creators whose ideas are pioneering new industries, creating new jobs and unleashing new opportunities for all of us," Obama also said.

I had an instance in a muslim owned 7/11 where everytime I tried to run my debit card, it would be rejected, but somehow my bank would deduct the money anyway, and they ALWAYS wanted me to re-try to run it as credit. I never figured out wtf was going on, but fuck those guys.

Obama's right.  He's just left out a few contributions.

For example:

I now get a picture of my cock taken when I fly on an airplane.
No picture?  Well, then I get my cock felt up by some overly friendly TSA thugs...I mean agents.
My emails get tracked.
My phone calls are tracked.
My internet surfing is tracked.
Cops are taking pictures of license plates and running it through a database.
Everything is being justified on the grounds of 'national security'.
