Why wouldn't he cycle his intensity and vary the movements in his workouts? No point overdoing any form of exercise.

The local CF gyms near me are like 200 a month and you have to do their classes.  Its not like you just go in workout do whatever and leave.

sounds like the boxing gyms in my old city. $180 a month or some shit + you had to take their classes for insurance purposes. Can't just go in and train yourself after awhile. Gotta blow money on the classes.

This is the one right near my office - $155 a month so long as you pay for 12 months.   Otherwise 195 a month.

I pay about 70 a month for NYSC and can use any of them which all have tons more stuff.

To me its just a complete rip off.  $200 a month and you have to do shit on their schedule and only go to one location.

If the schools were run by ex spec ops dudes or real bad ass mofos w accomplishments, that's one thing - most of these places are run by people w little more or less than a personal training degree.

And what are they doing you cant do anywhere else?  Rings?  ok -fine.

Other than that you are paying a lot more $$$ to get a lot less.

The idea of doing Olympic lifts(and other assorted nonsense) for time is like, WTF?

Full retard.

Don't let them fool you either.  The Crossfit games "champions" are doing pretty much the same idiotic shit that you see in the crossfit fail compilations on youtube.  Those idiots are the rule and not the exception as some would have you believe.

Why isn't anyone talking about Rhabdo?

Look up "Rhabdomyolysis and Crossfit" or Rhabdomyolysis and Crossfit lawsuits...

I'll tell you what, if you've been driving a Honda Civic for the last ten years, I'll give you a Corvette ZR1. Here's the stipulation: You have to start it up and push the gas pedal to the floor.

Surely you will end up in the same place as you would in Crossfit, no?  ???

Rhabdo is actually life-threatening and it's not just in Crossfit.

Trainers should be educated. I bet most don't even know what Rhabdo is.
