Because I am a born-and-raised child of Africa. I suffered through the worst of the Rhodesian war too. I witnessed a lot of death.  I am happier here in US.

Can you comment on your experience with the war Grant? What did you personally see/experience?

Oh brother....that is a big question. I saw my fathers farm laborers beaten and killed by Mugabe's soldiers because they refused to move from my father farm. Why would they?  They adored my father.... he gave them employment and hot showers/stoves and electricity and TV's which they had never had? My father gave them education for their kids and a free clinic Health Care.

But when they didn't vote for Mugabe ...his soldiers beat them with metal pipes until they almost died.

My fathers foreman (Mason) was dragged behind a truck until he had no skin left on his body. It was like he had been peeled with a potato peeler.  My father rescused him but he bleed to death... while my parents tried desperately to stop all the bleeding.  But it was too much. I watched it all. I'm damaged for life.
