Truth. California, a state built on prisons, cops, illegal immigrants, corrupt politicians and more cops.
huh? Compared to other states, it's pretty hard to get a prison sentence in CA... or at least actually SERVE a prison sentence.
There are states that for example: You live in CA, and have a medical MJ card/prescription and you smoke/eat or whatever your THC. Then you visit another state for a friends wedding, drink 2 glasses of wine at the reception and get pulled over in your rental car. The cop smells booze and requires you to either do a field sobriety (which you can refuse) or do a blood test/pbt. If you fail the PBT, or refuse it, they'll do the blood test at the hospital. Now, when they take your blood, they also test for rec's. BEcause you have THC in your system, NOW you get charged with felony "possession by ingestion" with carries a minimum 1 year in prison, with a max of 10. If they give you 10, you gotta serve 2.5 and better hope you don't get into trouble/fights or anything in those 2.5yrs or you lose your initial parole date and your parole won't be mandatory anymore, you'll have to go in front of the parole board in 9 months after your 2.5yr "mandatory" date and HOPE they let you go.
That is TRULY come on vacation, leave on probabtion (or parole).
Why do they do this? because they know you're from out of state, so you'll be having $$$ sent in from out of state and put on your books to purchase things on commissary. Idaho doesn't want Idaho $$$, they want CA money... and Texas money... and Hew Hampshire money... ect... (just used Idaho as an example).
why was David Dearth arrested? could be a few things likely
1-DUI
2-possession of controlled substance.. coke, meth, and/or pain killers (dude's got track's that rivial Tom Princes)
3-controlled delivery of AAS
4-distribution of AAS (or coke, meth, or pain killers)
5-domestic violence
..... those would be the obvious 'charges' for a guy like Dave.
